Our practice includes designing and fabricating large-scale artwork in the public sphere. We believe in the power of art to not only enrich an environment but also to engage an audience. This philosophy inspired us to design an interactive painting experience that shares the fun and exploration of creating art.

LC Studio Tutto has presented at a wide range of events and conferences. We have given presentations that range from in-depth lectures about public art to collaborative painting parties. Get in touch, we’d love to meet you and your group!

First, before the event we create a large abstract canvas painting. Next we tape a linear pattern over the top and paint the canvas white so it appears to be a blank slate. During the event, participants take turns making marks on the canvas from an array of curated colors until, as a team, they decide their painting is finished. Finally, we remove the tape, revealing the surprise product of our blind collaboration. The result is a one-of-a-kind painting that documents this experimental and explorative collaborative process. The pictures above capture our most recent event, held for the American Institute for Architects (AIA). The final wall hanging, called Journey, is now displayed at the AIA Headquarters.
